Being blind is not about what people can’t do—it’s about what they can do. Your instructors, who include people who are blind or have low vision, will explain how they manage homes, families, and careers; read and write with braille; “see” illustrations with their fingers; and explain how a guide dog is an invaluable help. You’ll also explore new technology which has given people who are blind or low vision greater independence and more freedom than ever before. Free to the public, registration is required and can be made by calling the Crescent Hill Public Library at: 502-574-1793. Best for adults and children ages 6 and up.
