Directions
Accessible parking spaces are available near the main entrance of The Dot Experience, with clear pathways from the lot to the museum doors.
Several Transit Authority of River City (TARC) bus routes stop within a short distance of The Dot Experience, a first-of-its-kind fully inclusive museum, making public transit a convenient option.
- Route 31 – Shelbyville Road travels along Frankfort Avenue and stops nearby at Frankfort & Clifton, just steps from APH. It connects key neighborhoods like Downtown, St. Matthews, and Middletown.
- Route 19 – Muhammad Ali Boulevard offers access via nearby stops and provides a direct link for riders traveling from the east and west sides of the city.
- Route 15 – Market Street serves adjacent areas with stops close enough for a short walk—perfect for visitors arriving from Market Street neighborhoods.
- Route 6 – Sixth Street passes near APH and connects Downtown and Churchill Downs, offering flexible options for those coming from the south or central Louisville.
Parking
We offer a dedicated parking lot on State Street for your convenience. Additional parking can be found along Frankfort Avenue and on the neighborhood streets surrounding The Dot Experience. Bus parking is available directly in front of The Dot Experience on Frankfort Avenue.
We also offer a circular driveway for front door drop off, as well as close handicap parking spaces.

Inside the museum, you’ll find tactile maps and orientation tools designed to guide your visit with ease. If you’d like a personal welcome, let us know ahead of time and our staff will be glad to meet you at the door.
