accessibility needs. As a fully accessible museum, we believe every visitor should have the freedom to
navigate independently and comfortably.
Whether you explore by touch, screen reader, app, or print, you’ll have the tools to move through The Dot Experience with confidence.

Our accessible PDF map is designed to work seamlessly with screen readers and assistive technology. It includes alt text for key features, clear navigation cues, and large-print, high-contrast design options to support a variety of visual and cognitive needs.

GoodMaps (coming soon)
Use GoodMaps, an accessible indoor navigation app, to receive turn-by-turn directions throughout The Dot Experience and the APH. Designed with inclusion in mind, GoodMaps provides real-time guidance for visitors who are blind or low vision and allows the user to navigate independently and confidently.

Tactile maps
Navigate exhibits through touch using tactile maps developed specifically for The Dot Experience. Available at the entrance, Orientation Station, and throughout the museum, these maps provide an additional layer of accessibility for visitors who prefer nonvisual navigation tools.

Printed maps
Pick up a traditional printed map when you arrive. Large-print and other accessible formats will also be available to support a variety of navigation preferences.
